Do you provide car parking service?

No, we are a comparison website and only act as booking agents for independent car parking companies advertising on our website.

How does Meet & Greet parking work?

Meet and Greet parking is the quickest and most convenient way of parking at the airport. Call your car parking company 20-30 mins before reaching the terminal. Driver will meet you at terminal drop off point and away you go. On your return, call the car parking company and they will meet you with your car outside the terminal entrance.

I can’t find my confirmation email, what do I do?

If you cannot find your confirmation email, simply get in contact with us via 03 333 447 877 or email us at info@compareparkingprices.co.uk and we will get it sorted for you.

How can I change my booking?

Through My Booking, you can change your flight info, vehicle, or personal details. However, for date/time changes you will have to contact customer services.

How do I cancel my booking and what is your cancellation policy ?

If your plans have changed, contact our customer services team to cancel the booking. There can be cancellation of booking 48 hours before the drop off date except on certain offers that are non-flexible. All cancellations will incur a £15 administration fee unless cancellation cover is purchased at time of booking. For extra piece of mind, don’t forget to add cancellation cover when making a booking.

What is cancellation cover?

Cancellation cover is an added fee that waives the penalty for any cancellation up to 48 hours before drop off time.

Can I change or cancel a Non-Flexible Purchase?

Unfortunately no, a non-flexible purchase cannot be changed or cancelled.

Can I cancel my booking directly with the car parking company ?

No, all cancellations must be sent to our customer services.

Is it my flight times or my drop off/collection times I need to enter?

Drop off and collection times are what we need. Please provide 2 - 3 hours leeway for traffic and check-in times to ensure you make your flight.

Does it cost anything to change your vehicle details?

No! It’s completely free of charge.

What do I do if my flight gets cancelled?

Is the booking fee refundable?

No, we cannot refund the booking fee.

What are saver /mystery deals?

Our Mystery or Saver deals offer unbeatable rates. By choosing our Mystery deal you will receive a lower rate than normally available from these car parking companies. We won't suitably be able to give away which car parking company it is until after purchase, but rest assured we'll provide all necessary details beforehand to ensure it's a great fit for you. Mystery deals are identified through symbol on service detail and on more info page for the service. Refer to our terms for mystery deals for full details or reach out to our customer services team if you have any queries before making a booking.

What do I do with my keys while my car is parked?

For all Meet and Greet service, keys must be left with car parking company. For Park and Ride service, check service info or booking confirmation.

Are the drivers/chauffeurs insured?

All car parking companies on our website are registered Limited companies who have obtained required insurance for road risks.

I need more information before I can make a booking / I have some specific requirement?

You can find additional details for each car park by clicking on “More info” link. Our customer services team will happy to assist your with any enquiries you may have before making a purchase.

How do I check car park’s security features?

Specific security features for each car park are shown through symbols on each service result. At busy periods, car parking companies may move vehicles to other compounds and not all compounds will have full security. All vehicles are parked at owners insured risk. Parks that have the Park Mark Award are readily identifiable as they feature a distinctive blue sign with a tick logo.

What does the Park Mark Award mean?

The Park Mark award is a national award presented to secure car parks that have been vetted by the British Parking Association and have met the criteria set out in the Safer Parking Scheme.

The scheme is designed to reduce crime and the fear of crime in parking facilities. To qualify for the award, car parks must have appropriate levels of surveillance, lighting, cleanliness, signage and safety features. Parks that have the Park Mark Award are readily identifiable as they feature a distinctive blue sign with a tick logo.

When choosing a car park, it is always recommended that you look for the Park Mark Award as assurance of quality and safety.

Can I leave things in the vehicle?

Any items /valuables left in the vehicle will be at your own risk.

What is Airport levy /exit fee?

Fee is charged by Airports to access/exit the airport terminal. Check service info or contact customer services to get confirmation if this is included in the quoted price or not.

What if I have to make a last-minute change or I am running early/ late on the day?

You must contact car park on the number provided in the booking email with as much notice as possible. You may face delays if you don’t call ahead.

How do I extend /shorten my stay ?

You must contact your car parking company to inform them of your arrival date. For extended stays, you will be charged a daily rate by the car park on your return.The cost will vary depending on which car park you have booked. If you are shortening your stay, there will be no refunds for unused days. Refer to car parking companies terms for full details.

What happens if my car is damaged?

In the unlikely event your car is damaged, simply record evidence by taking photos and report it to your car parking company immediately before leaving terminal and signing collection paperwork. Then make a formal complaint by following the steps outlined on your booking confirmation.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

Car parking companies usually can accommodate delays but you may face delay if they are busy. If flight delays results in extra day then carp park may charge you for extra day(s).

I am not happy with the service provided – how do I make a complaint?

We take all complaints seriously. Please send your complaints by email to car parking company and a copy to us. You should receive a response from car parking company within 7 working days confirming receipt of your complaint. Please note: Compare Parking Prices is a booking agent only and cannot be held responsible for any complaints in relation to damage or the service itself. Clients are to contact the individual car parking companies directly in these cases before leaving the car park.
